From the Driver's Seat: Bad Habits

I had to do this post. It has recently happened to me a lot of times, since my last job implied a lot of driving to different places. And no, it ain't a bad habit I have. But others do.


:TURN SIGNALS:


Think of this: You are driving to the mall. In front of you there's a "white Yaris" (only as an example) and after the stop light turns green, everyone starts to drive. You now see the mall, but before the mall there is a grocery store, and suddenly the "white Yaris" abruptly stops and turns to the grocery store without even turning on the turn signal. You have to suddenly break and the "Jeep" behind you almost hits you. All because the "white Yaris" didn't put on the turn signals.

Like if you were able to predict what everyone driving around you is going to do! I read several articles about the reasons of why people do these things. But there were two that caught my eye, and they are on the HuffPost Living Canada article about 7 reasons why drivers don't use turn signals. 

Turn signals are optional

NO PEOPLE!!! The turn signal lever is not a luxury device installed on cars so that it looks good! NO! Turn signals are required to use when you are driving. I have known of people getting caught by Police for not using turn signals when they had to use them. So, avoid to pay a driving ticket for that matter.

They are Too Lazy

Really!? How can people be lazy to just use the turn signal!? It's so easy to use! I wonder if there's a tutorial about how to use a turn signal lol!

Evo FE

N o, FE doesnt stands this time for faith in spanish. FE is what Mistubishi made of the Evo. The Final Edition. The end of this high performance sports sedan. The first gen Evo came in 1992 and it featured a 2.0L DOHC turbocharged engine with AWD. In 2003 Mitsubishi saw the success of the Impreza WRX STi from Subaru and decided to make a run for the Evo in the US market. A long time favorite car for car enthusiasts and people who love precise handling and speed. And Turbo.  The Evo X hasn't been updated since it appeared in 2007. Some complains include the Recaro seats being only available for one trim of the Evo and the lack of the steering wheel adjusting to the front. This year, the Lancer features a refreshed front design, and that's it. And the Evo features its final edition. Compared to a Subaru Impreza, the Evo lacks many things and features. But who cares? Old Cars: Reborn

We have seen how car names have come from generation to generation, like, for example, the Ford Mustang. Born in 1964, it has been ever since the favorite of almost every car enthusiast out there. On 2005, Ford decided to go retro with the Mustang, using as inspiration the design of the first generation pony car. But the Mustang name has never died, unlike some other American muscle cars, like the Dodge Charger, a very classic American muscle car that came back to life on 2006 ( with a mouth-watering 6.4 V8 HEMI on the R/T :D ). Also, the Dodge Challenger (1970-1983) was brought back to the streets on 2008. Another car ( one of my favorites :D ) was born in 1967.
