NISMO... Yes I'm writing about NISMO once again. I was searching some videos on YouTube when I come across this video of the new Sentra NISMO concept. Let's face it, the new Sentra design is nice, somewhat luxurious, but sportiness was nowhere to be found. Even the Sentra SR version isn't as sporty as it looks (thanks to the CVT). But then they mixed Sentra with NISMO! Kaboom! A 1.8lt four cylinder engine with 240 HP turbo engine, and it comes with a (angelical chorus) 6 speed manual gearbox! Oh, it even has Brembo brakes XD I like it. I would buy one if it gets to the market just as it is. What do you think? Recently, I rented a car for a long trip with my family. I wanted it to be a large car for five persons and storage for our luggage and stuff, since we were staying over with family on another town for a couple of days. The place where I went had only few choices, most of them Ford. They also had a couple of Hyundai Sonata, Ford Fusion, Explorer, and a Taurus. At first I thought the Sonata, but then there wouldn't be enough space for our luggage. The Fusion seemed like the logical choice, because the Explorer's daily rent was more expensive. But then, for five more dollars, I could take the Taurus. At first it felt like such a heavy and bulky car (because I drive a two door coupe, and the Taurus is big and bulky), but it had such a nice mix of elegance, sportiness, and comfort that I was, after a few minutes driving it, in love with it. It was the SEL model, that had black leather interiors, a very nice sound system with satellite radio, the Sync (which works just awesome), and

When you hear “Nissan” , you may think of Z’s, Pathfinder’s, Skyline’s, Fast and Furious, Paul Walker (He was the best), Sentra’s, SE-R’s, Need for Speed’s Underground 2 green Nissan 350 Z… Versa’s… Ok, enough! Wake up! But then, when you hear “NISMO” , well, you think: “Fast, very fast, racing fast!” or something like that. Well, Nissan wants that: speed . Ever since the Nissan Skyline appeared, it has been a long-time favorite car among every car enthusiast. But sadly, they didn’t came to the U.S. territory; and then, like Thor spinning it’s “Miau-Miau” hammer flying from another planet to save the Earth, the son of Skyline came to the U.S., the Nissan GT-R. (I really think that it is incredible how much power that beast has in a V6 when Americans need V8’s to have at least some of the power the GT-R has; still , I love muscle cars XD). I had to make a new post, and since its a very random one, I have decided to name it the random post. SO today I was driving when I saw passing me im the highway a Scion FRS. And I gotta say I love that car. The front headlights, grille, the low stance it has, the awesome lines on its side, the rear tail lights... And the engine! The 2.0 Boxter engine by Subaru! I also like the Subaru version of the Toyota 86, the BRZ, plus it has a touchscreen radio and a bit more agressive front face. What car you see on the streets that you would like to have? We have seen how car names have come from generation to generation, like, for example, the Ford Mustang. Born in 1964, it has been ever since the favorite of almost every car enthusiast out there. On 2005, Ford decided to go retro with the Mustang, using as inspiration the design of the first generation pony car. But the Mustang name has never died, unlike some other American muscle cars, like the Dodge Charger, a very classic American muscle car that came back to life on 2006 ( with a mouth-watering 6.4 V8 HEMI on the R/T :D ). Also, the Dodge Challenger (1970-1983) was brought back to the streets on 2008. Another car ( one of my favorites :D ) was born in 1967. Remember when maybe your parents gave you your first car? Or that job you had where you had to work for a long time to gather enough money to buy your first car? Many of us can tell all those great stories behind our first car. In my personal case, my parents gave me a 1989 Honda Accord LX as I entered to a college in another town. That was, by that time, the family car in my house. But my father bought a Suzuki Baleno (a.k.a. Esteem) 2000 as a new family car, so I inherited the Accord. I had my Accord for about 5 years, but it was in the family for about 6 years before it was mine. Long story short, mechanical parts were very difficult to find, and prices were too high for them. Time came when my mechanic (a.k.a. dad) got tired of fixing the car almost every month, and parts were expensive and we had to wait until they arrived, so I decided to sell the car.
