M itsubishi has not revealed many new cars besides the Mirage and Mirage G4. We have seen several concepts, but there they remain, concepts. And although its new crossover design does not share a design line with a sports car of the past (and by this I mean nothing more than Eclipse) somehow have managed to unearth and use the name of one of the most iconic sports car name of the brand (besides the Evo, of course) the Eclipse. Not only have they used the name Eclipse, but they are using it in a Crossover, hence their name Cross, which the fan community of the Eclipse line consider a disrespect to the name.
