Nissan GT-R / Skyline

Image
A s many of you might have already noticed, I'm a big Nissan follower, and a big GT-R fan. Why? Simple, as I grew up the family car was a Nissan. Ever since I have loved Nissan's. But, the Nissan GT-R it's such a beastly car with so much raw power on a V6 and an outstanding performance, that it is one of my favorite cars. Only four men assemble the GT-R's engines. They are known as Takumi (no, not the Initial D Takumi). These Takumi are master craftsmen who perfected their skills over years of dedication. Each Takumi inspects for quality and precision. Each GT-R engine has a plaque with the signature of the Takumi who assembled it. Car lovers and enthusiasts know or might have heard at least of the Nurburgring, or at least you might have raced it in Gran Turismo or something. The GT-R made an astonishing 7:08:679 in 2013,making the GT-R the fastest production car in the world. In 1989 the Skyline GT-R (BNR32) was named Godzilla by an Australian moto

What happened here?

Image
Hi! It's been long since I last posted here. I had great plans for this blog, but somehow, Blogger itself deleted some pictures from my most visited posts. This has somewhat taken my interest in Blogger away. Bummer, I know... I have been busy and haven't been able to go to my computer and put every single picture again. If you use Blogger, has this happened  to you? Leave a comment below. Even though I say that my interest in Blogger has been taken away, I certainly haven't lost it all. I'm managing a Spanish blog in WordPress too and maintaining my Instagram updated. Once I upload the pictures missing back to their original posts, I will start blogging again here. Meanwhile, In Puerto Rico, on May 28, '17 there was what is known here as a "Volkyshow", and that's no other thing that a Volkswagen Meet, to put it someway. A car show of Volkswagens and some old muscle cars.  I'm slowly uploading the pictures to Instagram, but here are some of

Eclipse Cross

Image
M itsubishi has not revealed many new cars besides the Mirage and Mirage G4. We have seen several concepts, but there they remain, concepts. And although its new crossover design does not share a design line with a sports car of the past (and by this I mean nothing more than Eclipse) somehow have managed to unearth and use the name of one of the most iconic sports car name of the brand (besides the Evo, of course) the Eclipse. Not only have they used the name Eclipse, but they are using it in a Crossover, hence their name Cross, which the fan community of the Eclipse line consider a disrespect to the name. (Pictures of Eclipse Generations at the end of this post) The Eclipse, in its years, followed the line of high performance cars before they decided to eliminate the Eclipse in 2012. Now the big question is: is it a crossover of high performance? The answer is very simple. NO . The Eclipse Cross is not a high-performance crossover. Its size can be compared to that of the Jeep Com

From the Driver's Seat: Bad Habits

Image
I had to do this post. It has recently happened to me a lot of times, since my last job implied a lot of driving to different places. And no, it ain't a bad habit I have. But others do. :TURN SIGNALS: Think of this: You are driving to the mall. In front of you there's a "white Yaris" (only as an example) and after the stop light turns green, everyone starts to drive. You now see the mall, but before the mall there is a grocery store, and suddenly the "white Yaris" abruptly stops and turns to the grocery store without even turning on the turn signal. You have to suddenly break and the "Jeep" behind you almost hits you. All because the "white Yaris" didn't put on the turn signals. "According to a study by The Society of Automotive Engineers, turn signal neglect in the United States causes about two million crashes per year ."  -HuffPost Living Canada Like if you were able to predict what everyone dr

Subaru

H ello , it's been a while since I last posted. I have a job now and I almost dont have time for blogging. If you haven't done it yet, follow me on my INSTAGRAM account. So, there are some pictures from February's Racing Expo that I haven't posted, so here they are. I'm going to start with Subaru today. I am a huge Nissan fan, but Subaru has won over a place in my heart too. Oh, and by the way, the new GTR is out, so expect a post soon! Since 1992 the Impreza has been an icon on the racing world. Specially when it comes to the WRX (World Rally Experiment or World Rally Cross, as it's known in other places) with the Rally inspired performance, including the all-wheel drive mode, a stiffened suspension, and the turbocharged four cylinder engines. There's also the WRX STI(Subaru Tecnica International), an upgraded version of the WRX model. Being a very successful car in the world of rally and very popular among the street racers, and car culture overall
